Living Landscapes

The European Natural Grazing Congress

Hosted by FREE Nature

Europe’s landscapes are shaped by grazers. From Konik Horse to Tauros and the European Bison: a diverse rarge of large herbivores play a vital role in creating dynamic habitats, restoring ecological processes and increasing biodiversity. But natural grazing is about more than just ecology. It brings together science, land management, legislation, culture and society, and faces different approaches and challenges all across Europe.

In March 2028, the inaugural edition of Living Landscapes: The European Natural Grazing Congress will bring together researchers, conservationists, practitioners and policymakers from across Europe to exchange their knowledge and share experiences. By bringing together perspectives from across our continent and beyond, we hope to strengthen mutual collaboration and inspire new ideas for the future of Europe’s living landscapes.
